Peeled skin, how long will it take to cure?

I was playing basketball in the street and a rock got in my shoe, I didn't really feel anything except it started burning after the game & I took my shoe off and it peeled off my skin so now it's uncomfortable to walk without a sock on, I didn't peel the skin off completely, it's about the size of my thumb's nail, it's on the palm of my foot, and when I look below the peeled of skin, it's another reddish layer which now turned into a light pink..it's starting to cure (happened on tuesday night), will it be healed by saturday? It's not that serious as there's no blood, it's just uncomfortable, should I peel it off? It's getting kinda hard, it softens after I take a shower
