I soaked my retainer in deluded Listerine for 5 hours and when i put it back in my mouth it softened. I think the Listerine ate it away. I have the acrylic kind with the wire. I dont know what to do. Is it safe to wear do i need a new one or can they fix this one?

Dizziness headaches ringing ears vision issues etc...?

Since last November i have been experiencing headaches and dizziness... i went to the gp several times.. in the end i had an MRI and it came up fine except for swollen adenoids and swelling behind the eyes. Since then, i have still experienced dizziness. I have ringing in the ears and now a clicking when i swallow or yawn. My vision has also deteriorated.. it seems hazy in poor lighting and i get starburst effects with bright lights e.g. lamposts and cars. I do not know what to do because it is horrible. I have not been to the GP since December because i do not see what more they can do for me. Here's a little background: I started experiencing depression and my therapist at the time *thought* may have been a chemical imbalance, but she was not 100% sure. After theses sensations went away I got another sharp intense pain that started on left side of the back of my neck and it ran up towards the left side of my head and the pain reached my ear. I'm 14, and forever I've had bad stomach aches and nausea. Mostly it's just my stomach and that, but my chest does hurt every once in awile, so I do get heartburn once in awile. Weight gain with Mirena IUD?

I have only had it once. I did gain about 6-7 lbs which is a lot for me, but its hard to say if it was Mirena-I had been breastfeeding my daughter who had extreme colic and literally could scream from 9p.m. to 5 a.m. some nights plus I was afraid to eat just about anything for fear it would make her gassy/colicky. Why is my dog attacking my other dog?

I have 2 intact female dogs; Basset Hound and Cocker Spaniel. We bred our basset hound over 6 months ago and during her pregnancy she became aggressive about food with our cocker. 38 Week Labor/Pregnancy Questions ?

I'm almost 38 weeks, I had my cervix checked yesterday (monday) and I was 70% effaced (after going from a zero the monday before) my cervix have been softened for a week but I'm not very dialated. I've been drinking raspberry leaf tea, bouncing on a ball and went for a walk yesterday. I had bad cramps and contractions when I got done with the dr and in the evening lost a quarter size amount of my plug but no more after that. Contractions all night (but it was false labor) with me not even being at 38 weeks and 70% effaced and then losing my plug.. should I go the dr to see if I'm dialating more now or just wait till next weeks appt and ride it out?

I have a fake nail kit and of course it came with nail glue. It was a fresh supply, all sealed up, and when you try to apply it to the fake nail it won't come out!!! Why does 2% milk make me sick?

I've drank 2% as a kid with little sickness and now when I drink even a small 8oz glass of 2% I get sick to my stomach. My wife has drunken whole milk her whole life and when she got pregnant the Dr. told her to switch to 2% but that only made her nausea worse. Even now (our baby is 8 months) when she drinks 2% milk she will be in the bathroom sick all day. She switched us to organic whole milk and we were fine. Could we be lactose intolerant now? (but we can eat cheese and other dairy products no problem) or have our bodies grown sensitive to the hormones and other products they pump into the cows?

For some weird reason my eyes change different colors almost every single day. Its not really annoying me, but it has me worried. Daily Aspirin Regimen?

The doctor came in and she said everything looks good. good shape , prostate very normal for a guy my age. BP 127 over 70 , excellent , I have the body of a 30 year old. Then 3 days later I get a call from her nurse regarding my labs. Total Cholesterol score 164 with the HDL a little low and Triglycerides 144. She went on to say that however the good lipids , the doctor did have a concern regarding the viscosity of my blood. She further stated that with the normal blood viscosity for a fellow my age is around 13.4 mine came in at 16.5 , not life threatening but shouldn't be blown off either. She recommended I start a daily aspirin regimen ( St. Joseph 81mg baby aspirin ) to thin my blood. Now I'm the kind of guy who does his homework , so I always research things to death. Every medical web site I've been to all say the same thing regarding daily aspirin therapy. Things such as , blood thinning can be every dangerous , some side effects can include stomach ulcers , easy bruising , and in some cases excessive blood thinning can lead to hemorrhagic brain aneurysm , and we only recommend daily aspirin regimen for people who have all ready had a heart attack and/or stroke to prevent a recurrence. So now I'm stumped. I'm the kind of person that usually avoids pharmaceuticals because , everything can have possible side effects , and in most cases it looks like the cure can be worse than the condition. Does anyone have any input ?

Peeled skin, how long will it take to cure?

An Evil Stepmother in Real Life?

My mom died when I was 6. My dad remarried this older "Christian" lady to be a female role model when I was 9. I was immature at that time and didn't like her very much and told her so. She started acting aloof around me and wanted to have her own kid so she and my dad started going to some kind of fertility place and she eventually got pregnant when I was 11. Well ill begin with some basic information. I am a 19 year old male. I work out ( weight lift, and cardio) at least 6 days a week but normally go everyday for around 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
