Are there alternative treatments for aortic aneurysms besides surgery?

My 62 year old father was diagnosed with 3 aortic aneurysms placed closely together so the doctors ruled out surgery as an option. This was 7 years ago, now he's getting symptoms such as dizziness, exhaustion, tingling and numbness. He went to the doctor at the VA and had a ct scan done and they said they had grown substantially. Now he tells me that theres absolutely nothing they can do since surgery was never an option. I was wondering if this seems accurate. Hes been on blood pressure and cholesterol medicine but is there anything else?
